Once upon a train
I turned to see the rain
Remembering the dream
Of hope, and stars agleam.
Journey’s end will dreams fulfill
In freedom’s home on hallowed hill.

Everywhere I went for many years, I carried a longing for a home of my own.
I would look around in my travels to and fro and wonder, will I ever find it?

The poem, "Once Upon a Train" is about that quest, a wish upon a star, a prayer
to the fates, a dream —and now it has come true.

Flamenco dance
swirling color,
castanets—
in every curve
romance!
